I’ve had diabetes for 10 or 12 years. Type 2.
I’m not on insulin, but I am on Ozempic, Gliclazide and Metformin.
My blood sugars are a touch high, or they have been, often a 9 or 10 fasted in the morning.
That, my friends, is slowly changing. This walking and eating far healthier choices is slowly bringing the numbers down. It’s been between 6.1 and 7.5 each day this week. I’m thrilled.
I’m on 15 daily prescriptions for a bunch of health issues, most notably for mental illness. But if I can reduce or eliminate any of those three diabetes meds – I’d be thrilled beyond belief.
